Heal-ium city represents a utopian vision of a contaminated city due to the COVID-19 pandemic and proposes a new lifestyle above the infected ground. This would help cleanse the terrain as social gatherings become limited, thus preventing more contamination and increasing hygiene. As a solution to the current restrictions placed on travel and tourism, the home is designed to be mobile, to promote new travel-friendly lifestyles even beyond local territories. The family units are lifted in the air and are designed as minimalistic homes. The cylindrical form provides 360degree views and includes a kitchen on the ground floor, living and work space on the first floor, bedroom and bathroom on the second floor and finally an outdoor terrace. The project also aims to question the role of territories as the city would now need new spatial and political boundaries. Communication in air will become the new mode of interaction as Heal-ium City is in constant motion. This city encourages us to alter our perspectives by enabling us to view the planet from different vantage points and reflect on the places we currently call home.
